Experience the culture and refinement of the Gilded Age
at the Frick Art & Historical Center, located on five-and-a-half
acres of beautifully landscaped gardens in Pittsburgh's
historic East End, 20 minutes east of downtown Pittsburgh.
The museum and its multiple collections are the legacy of Helen
Clay Frick, daughter of Henry Clay Frick, one of America's
greatest industrialists and art collectors.
Groups will enjoy a one-hour docent-led tour of Clayton, the turn-of-the-century Frick
family residence. One of the nation's most perfectly intact Victorian homes, Clayton
was featured on A&E's America's Castles.
Large groups are divided into smaller groups of eight to ten, departing at 10-minute
intervals. Please call for admission fees and reservations.
In addition to Clayton, visitors will enjoy viewing
the Frick's collections on exhibit at The Frick Art
Museum and the Car and Carriage Museum.
Extensive in size and scope, the collections
encompass the fine and decorative arts as well
as architectural and automotive design.
The Museum Shop, located in The Frick children's
Playhouse, offers uncommon gifts, souvenirs, and
books on art and Pittsburgh history.
Hours of Operation: The Frick is open year-round, Tuesday-Sunday,
10 a.m.-5 p.m. Closed Mondays and major holidays.
Accessibility: All facilities with the exception of Clayton's second floor are
accessible to persons with disabilities.
Bus parking: Free parking is available adjacent to the Frick Art & Historical
Center on Reynolds Street.
